Description

AUSTRALIA
Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION STANDARD PATENT NOSE BLOCK STUFFER The following statement is a full description of this new invention for use to control nasal congestion known to me: NOSE BLOCK STUFFER This invention relates to a new product used for external stuffing therapy on nose to clear one congested side.
The new idea to invent a simple device and discover a nose therapy are unknow to people when they are suffering a nasal congestion which may be a sickness. A human nose has two passages, right and left sides, leading to a throat, wind pipe and two lungs. The device and therapy are created to stuff one side. On the other side inhales oxygen and exhales dioxide where the lungs can still function well. There is an advantage to seal one side due to nose blocked by mucus.
It is different to breath with one side than both on certain periods and circumstances of a life. The device is made of sterile cotton or any suitable material with or without sterile.
It was tested many years to control nasal congestion caused by asthma, flu, cold, hay fever, sinus, nose blow and sneeze.
During sickness with congestion, it is very difficult to blow out all the mucus or discharge from back of nose to mouth.. the therapy will reduce the mucus and phlegm significantly, if not controlled will cause allergic, cough or irritate the nose, throat and lungs. When there are no mucus and phlegm, the human respiratory organs will breath well without irritations. It is not a cure but controlling nasal congestion. Then the lungs will be cleared and healthy to avoid any respiratory diseases or allergy. If too much phlegm in human wing pipe, it may infect the lungs or cause a breathlessness example Asthma.
Besides the therapy is a new discovery. It is important to use and know whether there is any health advantage to breath with one side of the nose at certain times when a person is not exerting. If breath too much oxygen into the lungs by two sides will likely to cause the nasal congestion at times. In some cases, the sickness and cough are insignificant to health, the actual causes are the enviroment, weather and pollution.
The nasal congestion has prompted to shut off one side to stop the allergy and mucus. Awhile, it can trigger to cough out the phlegm. Sucking too much uncleaned air into the lungs could cause more mucus and phlegm, then tumrn thick and yellow.
Breathing on one side and the therapy is good for human respiratory system. Whether to breath one side or both will depend on the circumstances or sicknesses. It was tested more than 10 years aimed to control congestion, allergy and cough. The device can be of any shape, colour, cleaned form, and sterile, added medicine or antiseptic. The stuffing is a new treatment technic to stop allergy to nose and wind pipe.
The new invention is now illustrated with the simple drawings to show the device and therapy.
Fig. 1 shows the device 1 used for the therapy to clear nasal congestion. The purpose is to use it to stuff, one side of the congested nose 2 by mucus, thightening it to prevent oxygen inhales and dioxide exhales there. A small portion of it must tuck out for the fingers to apply and take out.
Fig. 2 shows the therapy carried out on one side of nose of a person to prevents breathing. The other side unblocked nose 3, its passage must be able to breath in oxygen and blow out dioxide, so that the lungs function normally. It helps to relax the nose, wind pipe and musle which may be tensed or allergic.
After awhile, it helps to make the mucus flowed behind to spit out. When it relaxed the stuff is taken out there to blow out the white or yellow mucus. If phlegm was there in the throat or wind pipe, it will be coughed out. Both the yellow dischages are cleared, will make the nasal and respiratory organs and tissue healthy. Then, the nose and throat are not allergic, also prevent or minimise any sicknesses from worsening. Using it often will improve human health, stop congestion, itchiness and allergy by gradually dry up the mucus and phlegm, without side effect.
After that, if the nose is blocked on the other side, the allergy started at times when its tissue cannot take the air pressure in and out. The stuff is taken out, change positions continuously, blowing out mucus from each relaxed side, then with coughing, both way reduce mucus and phlegm significantly. The allergy of the nose must be controlled, to dry up the mucus and nasal tissue by stuffing. It is effective to control the congestion, allergy, itchiness and cough.
It is not recommended to use while sleeping or about to sleep Children must be supervised and observed not to choke with it. Children and adults must be careful of a choke while applying it and sleep.

Claims (8)

1. The nose block stuffer is a simple device made of cotton or any suitable material in cleaned form or sterile. It is used for a therapy aimed to clear as much mucus from nose and trigger to cough out phlegm from wind pipe. It will reduce and dry them up to avoid allergy and help bad cough. It may be used on cough and allergy with mucus and phlegm. The aim of the device and therapy is to eliminate congestion but not a cure of sicknesses which are treated by medicines. It is a stuffer not inhaler.
2. The nose block stuffer device of claim 1 wherein has been used on a child's asthma triggered by the daily pollution and unknown pesticide smell overseas. The therapy did many times on him to clear his nasal congestion and cough out phlegm. His medicines, Ventolin inhaler and liquid, antihistamines and cough mixtures were taken once daily and sometimes twice when the condition worsen. The asthma and allergy was often but the attacks never cause breathless despite not much ventolin taken. His allergy and asthma with the treatment was over in seven years.
3. The nose block stuffer device of claim 1 wherein the device used for therapy had solved the bad sneezes and nose drips caused by unknown pesticides smell overseas for killing ants and insects at the floor.
4. The nose block stuffer device of claim 1 wherein the device used for therapy six days after taking antibiotic and antihistamine for sore throat and flu or cold. After taking the medicines the nose congestion was there blowing thick mucus through the nose, then followed by bad cough with phlegm. After illness worsened, the therapy applied, thus suppressed the cough and congestion, blowed out the yellow mucus through nose and behind it, at the same time coughed almost all the yellow phlegm out of the lungs. It stopped the allergy, congestion, cough and sore throat without further medicines. It drys up mucus and phlegm. The nose block stuffer device of claim 1 wherein the device used for therapy have controlled the sinus or hay fever by relaxing the nose to stop the sneeze and nasal pressure. The therapy cleared the mucus through the nose and backward into the mouth easily.
The yellow mucus discharged will stop and dry up.
6. The nose block stuffer device of claim 1 wherein the device is used, when the sickness making the nose congestion very hard for all the mucus to be blowed out even exerted. The therapy helps to relax the nasal system making it easy and little effort needed to discharge the mucus and phlegm from the nose and throat. If one side cleared up and the other side started to block, the device is changed position until both sides of nose are cleared and allergy gone.
7. The nose block stuffer device of claim 1 to 5 wherein the device used for therapy as compared with medicines. In certain circumstances where nasal congestion and cough, were very common to human, due to weather and coldness which are insignificant to health. The long term use of medicines will lower the human immune system. In some cases diseases with respiratory congestion have no medicine to cure, when not serious can try the therapy. First the therapy blows almost all the mucus, then reducing to little has stopped nose allergy and throat itch. Then it triggers cough with phlegm and stop allergy of the wind pipe. Breathing one side of nose is a New Idea but the device was tested more than ten years, the human lungs still can function well. The device may add medicines or antiseptic if used on sick persons.
8. The nose block stuffer device clearly as herein described with reference to the accompanying drawings. Loo Beng Tan 07 June 2004
