Abstract

Disclosed is a closing and/or retracting device (1) for movable parts of a piece of furniture, comprising a spring-impinged displaceable slide (8) on which a separate driving member is tiltably mounted. A part of a piece of furniture can be detachably coupled to said driving member. The inventive device further comprises a fluid damper (9) which dampens the retracting movement of the slide (8). Said fluid damper (9, 20) is separated from the displaceable slide (8) and is provided with a stop, against which the slide (8) rests with the aid of a counterstop during the retracting movement.
