Abstract

The flip pack of thin card or suchlike, especially for cigarettes, has the longitudinal edges (29,30) and transverse edges (31-34) constructed by forming of the packing material as an outwards orientated protrusion (35), which is round in cross section, or as an inwards orientated recess which is also round in cross section. The edges constructed as a protrusion have a part circle form cross section, approximately in the form of a three quarter circle, and the edges constructed as a recess have a part circle form cross section, approximately in the form of a quarter circle.
