Abstract

The invention relates to a device which permits the opening flap to be maintained close to the closed position with relation to the chassis (C) of a vehicle, comprising a body (11) for immobilization on the chassis (C) in a securing zone (Z) with a bolt and a latch (20) which can cooperate with the edge of a mortise hole for a lock provided in the opening flap for locking the opening flap in the given position. The body (11) is provided with a striker (30) which moves (F3) with relation to the body, said striker can come into contact against an edge of the mortise hole provided in the opening flap, whereby the position thereof relative to the body depends on the conditions of the contact of the striker against the mortise hole.
