Abstract

An apparatus for preparing beverages comprises receiving means (203a) suitable for receiving container means (10) containing a base substance of the beverage to be prepared, said receiving means (203a) being slidable along guide means (224) between a loading position, in which said receiving means (203a) is arranged externally of a base body (204) of said apparatus (201) for receiving said container means (10), and an operating position, in which said receiving means (203a) is arranged internally of said base body (204) for bringing said container means (10) to interact with liquid distributing means, and pressure blocking means (221) suitable for keeping said receiving means (203a) in said operating position. <IMAGE>
