The invention is an improvement that reduces errors in accuracy and increases efficiency when gauging cuts. The main aim of the invention is to eliminate lateral deflection of the cutting bar during the cuffing operation- The invention consists of two spacers, guides or slides mounted to a chainsaw cuffing har in the proximity of the cutting hr tip.
