Abstract

The invention relates to a anti-drip device for food, especially for ice cream. The aim of the invention is to provide an anti-drip device especially for all sorts of ice cream which is easy to handle, has a unique design and prevents melting ice cream from dripping. To this end, the anti-drip device is adapted to be put over the circumference of the ice cream (3) or over the stick of the ice cream like a collar. The anti-drip device has an opening (2) adapted to the corresponding cone or stick shape of the ice cream (3) and projects with its outer horizontal periphery beyond that of the ice cream (3). The anti-drip device is further characterized in that its top (4) forms a drip tray and that at least said drip tray serves as an advertising medium.
