Abstract
Dye mixtures contain 1-hydroxy-2-(vinylsulfonyl-2-hydroxyphenylazo)-7 -(3-hydroxy-2-phenyl-pyrrol-4-yl-azo)-naphthalene-3-sulfonic acid (precursor) copper (Cu) complex dyes (I) and N-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-ms-phenyl-N'-(2-carboxy- or -sulfo-phenyl)-formazan Cu complex dyes (II). Dye mixtures contain 1-hydroxy-2-(vinylsulfonyl-2-hydroxyphenylazo)-7 -(3-hydroxy-2-phenyl-pyrrol-4-yl-azo)-naphthalene-3-sulfonic acid (precursor) copper (Cu) complex dyes of formula (I) and N-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-ms-phenyl-N'-(2-carboxy- or -sulfo-phenyl)-formazan Cu complex dyes of formula (II): [Image] M : hydrogen (H) or an alkali(ne earth) or ammonium ion; R 1>H, 1-4 carbon (C) alkyl or alkoxy, sulfo, bromo or chloro (Cl); R 2>H, 1-6C alkyl or carboxy(alkyl); R 3>H, sulfo or SO 2Y 1>; R 4>, R 6>H or sulfo; R 5>as R 4>, methyl, carboxyl or SO 2Y 2>; R 7>, R 8>H, alkyl, sulfo or Cl; W : C or -SO-; A : SO 2Y 3> or a group of the formula *-N(H)B; Y, Y 1>,Y 2>, Y 3>vinyl or CH 2CH 2Z; Z : a group eliminated by alkali; * : the bond to the formazan; B : a substituted pyrimidyl, s-triazinyl or sullfo-aryl- or -alkyl-carbamoyl group. An independent claim is also included for the production of the mixture by mechanical mixing of the required proportions of (I) and (II) in solid or liquid form.
