Abstract
The safety switching device has an input module (18.1-18.4) for processing signals provided by a safety device (20.1,20.2) and supplying corresponding signals to at least 2 output modules (19.1,19.2), for controlling an actuator (21). The input and output modules are arranged in series, with each input module assigned to one or both output modules dependent on its position within the series arrangement.
