Abstract

A transdermal therapeutically effective pharmaceutical dressing is composed of a film-forming polymer which contains the active ingredient, a liquid polymer matrix which forms a flexible film on hardening, the active ingredient, a solvent which controls the release of the active ingredient and in which the active ingredient is at least partially soluble, a solvent for the matrix which evaporates on the skin, and a propellant. The dressing is contained in a device for metered spraying on to a predetermined surface.
