Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a tablet or similar consisting of an outer material and at least one core material, which can consist especially of viscous material, using a tablet press with an upper stamp (1) and a lower stamp (3), said lower stamp preferably also being mobile. The invention is characterized in that the lower stamp (3) of the tablet press is provided with at least one projection, this projection being closed in itself, and in that the core material(s) is/are applied to the surface(s) surrounded by the projection(s) before the outer material(s) is/are introduced into the matrix formed by the lower stamp (3) and the side walls (2). Alternatively, the outer material can be introduced into the matrix formed by the lower stamp and the side walls (2) first, the core materials then being applied to the surface of the outer material facing towards the upper stamp (1) and the tablet being pressed with an upper stamp (1) which has at least one projection that is closed in itself, this projection limiting the distribution of the outer material in the finished pressed tablet.
