Abstract
1. Filaments and fibers of acrylonitrile polymers in which the filament-forming substance consists of 70 to 100% by weight of acrylonitrile and 30 to 0% by weight of other units which can be copolymerized with acrylonitrile - excluding such of hydroxyalkyl acrylonitrile - characterized in that the initial modulus of the filaments and fibers is greater than 1,300 cN/tex, based on 100% elongation.
