Device for the multicolour printing of thermoplastic foils with a plurality of printing mechanisms (2, 3) arranged one behind the other and with at least one drying apparatus (7) which is arranged between adjacent printing mechanims (2, 3) in each case, and in which the freshly printed dye is dried by supplying air, characterized in that each drying apparatus (7) comprises a sliding table (15) which is disposed in the rectilinear guide plane of the foil (1) and has a cooling surface (16) for the unprinted side of the foil (1), and in that the drying air is blown towards the cooling surface (16).
