Abstract

A snap-lock arrangement for a container lid of the type which can be locked on to a container, via a bi-stable release flange deployed on the lid or container, which is designed to work in tandem with a locking ridge on the container and the lid respectively. The bi-stable release flange is deployed with largely vertical yield lines, whereby at least two are mutually arranged in such a way that the part of the release flange situated between them forms a snap-lock unit.<IMAGE>
