Abstract

1. A device for holding tubular vessels (5), preferably reaction or sample vessels for pretreating biological material to be examined, particularly by the radio immuno assay (RIA) technology, comprising two spaced apart through openings (3, 4) for receiving plates (1,2) provided with a multiplicity of vessels (5) and also comprising resilient holding elements, which are disposed adjacent to said through openings and associated with respective vessels (5), characterized in that the holding element consists of a leaf spring (8), which is mounted between the plates (1, 2) and all leaf springs (8) are adapted to be jointly locked and unlocked by means of a control rail (12).
