Abstract

1. Coke oven door with a sealing section which is constructed around its periphery and comprises a sealing strip which comes to rest with one edge on the oven frame and a sealing plate connected by one arm approximately at right angles to the sealing strip and fixed by another arm to the oven door, and also has angular pressure plates which press on the sealing strip and compression springs arranged between the pressure plates and abutments mounted on the oven door, characterised in that clip bolts (6) having a T-shaped profile are provided which have a first bolt (7) which serves to retain the abutment (12; 28; 29; 31) and to guide the pressure plate (14) so that it slidably movable, and a second bolt (8) which is arranged at right angles to the first bolt (7) and serves to fix the clip bolt (6) on the oven door, and a clamp attachment (9) which is provided as an extension of the first bolt (7) and serves to clamp the sealing section (2) onto the oven door.
