Abstract

1. A roof cover, in particular for flat roofs with a raised roof edge (4) over which a roof sealing means (3) is drawn, and having a resilient shaped member (6) which is of U-shaped cross-section and which is clamped fast on the roof edge (4), the downwardly projecting limb portions (11, 13) of the shaped member (6) engaging over the wall surface or wall cladding (2) on the one hand and the roof sealing means (3) which is drawn up over the roof edge on the other hand, characterized in that a grooved wooden bar member (5) is fixed on the roof edge (4), the shaped member (6) comprises resilient plastics material, the two limb portions (11, 13) of the U-shaped member are biassed inwardly and the web portion which joins the limb portions (11, 13) is provided on its inside with an anchoring foot (7) which is gripped in a groove (9) arranged on the top of the wooden bar member (5).
