Abstract
1. Incandescent material comprising a mixture of finely divided oxides in the form of a textile-like system, characterized in that mixture of oxides comprises, in moles : - 75 to 90% of zirconium oxide, ZrO2 , - 10 to 25% of calcium oxide, CaO, - either 0 to 5% of aluminium oxide, or 0 to 5% of aluminium oxide and magnesium oxide, and - 0 to 1% in total of one or more oxides selected from the group comprising iron oxide, manganese oxide, praseodymium oxide and cerium oxide.
