Vorliegende Erfindung hat den Zweck ein unbefugtes Öffnen versperrter Türen durch Aufriegeln des durch Kantenriegel verankerten Türflügels mittels dünner Haken od. dgl. zu verhindern. Ausserdem ist die Anordnung der Sicherung so getroffen, dass beim Absperren oder Schliessen der Türe auf das Zu- riegeln des einen Türflügels nicht vergessen werden kann, da das Schliessen des anderen Türflügels nur bei gesichertem Riegel des ersteren möglich ist.
Es ist bereits eine Kantenriegelsicherung bekannt, die aber den Nachteil hat, dass sie an der Tür- kante drehbar befestigt ist ; dadurch kann sie leicht durchgedrückt bzw. ausgehoben werden. Weiters ist es bei Türen, die nicht auf beiden Seiten Deckleiste haben, möglich, dass die Sicherung seitwärts verdreht bleibt und die Türe geschlossen wird, ohne dass der Riegel gesichert ist.
Alle diese Nachteile sind beim Gegenstande vorliegender Erfindung nicht vorhanden.
Die Kantenriegelsicherung nach vorliegender Erfindung besteht aus einem federnden, einen in die
Griffhülse des Riegels eingreifenden Vorsprung tragenden Blechstreifen, der aus einem Stück bestehend, an dem den Vorsprung entgegengesetzten Ende fix und unverdrehbar an der Türkante befestigt ist, wo- durch der federnde Bleehstreifen das Schliessen des beweglichen Türflügels erst dann gestattet, wenn die
Kantenriegel des feststehenden Türflügels in ihre Sperrlage gebracht und darin durch den in die Griff- hülse des Riegels eingreifenden Vorsprung des federnden Blechstreifens gesichert wurden.
In der Zeichnung ist eine Ausführungsart der Erfindung dargestellt, u. zw. in Fig. 1 im Querschnitt und in Fig. 2 in der Draufsicht.
In Fig. 1 zeigt 1 den Türrahmen mit seiner Stirnfläche 2, auf der der federnde Blechstreifen J mittels der Schrauben 4 befestigt ist. Das andere Ende des Streifens 3 ist zu einem nasenförmigen Vorsprunge 5 geformt, der sich federnd gegen die Stirnfläche des Türrahmens anlegt. Der Kantenriegel 6 trägt wie allgemein üblich eine Griffhülse 7, die ein Führungsblech 8 trägt, das sich mit dem Riegel 6 unter dem Deckbleche 9 der Länge nach frei verschieben lässt. Die Lage des federnden Blechstreifens 3 ist nun so gewählt, dass der Vorsprung 5 in gesperrtem Zustande des Riegels 6 gerade mit der Kante 10 über den Rand 11 der Griffhülse 7 zu liegen kommt, in diese tief einschnappt und in der Sperrstellung festhält.
Soll der Riegel 6 in die Offenstellung gebracht werden, muss der federnde Blechstreifen 3 erst soweit von der Stirnfläche des Türrahmens weggezogen werden, bis der Vorsprung 5 aus der Griffhülse 7 herausgezogen ist und den Riegel zur Offenstellung freigibt. In dieser Stellung legt sich aber der Vorsprung 5 gegen das Führungsblech 8 und der federnde Blechstreifen 3 steht soweit über die Stirnfläche 2 vor, dass ein Schliessen des anderen Türflügels nicht möglich ist.
Für Fig. 2 gelten dieselben Bezugsziffern wie in Fig. 1 für dieselben Einzelteile der Vorrichtung.

Edge locking.
The present invention has the purpose of preventing unauthorized opening of locked doors by unlocking the door leaf anchored by edge bolts by means of thin hooks or the like. In addition, the arrangement of the safety device is such that when locking or closing the door it is not possible to forget to lock one door leaf, since the other door leaf can only be closed when the bolt of the former is secured.
An edge locking device is already known, but this has the disadvantage that it is rotatably attached to the door edge; this allows it to be easily pushed through or lifted out. Furthermore, with doors that do not have cover strips on both sides, it is possible that the safety device remains twisted sideways and the door is closed without the bolt being secured.
None of these disadvantages are present in the subject matter of the present invention.
The edge locking device according to the present invention consists of a resilient, one in the

In Fig. 1, 1 shows the door frame with its end face 2, on which the resilient sheet metal strip J is fastened by means of the screws 4. The other end of the strip 3 is shaped into a nose-shaped projection 5 which rests resiliently against the end face of the door frame. As is generally the case, the edge bolt 6 carries a grip sleeve 7 which carries a guide plate 8 which can be freely moved lengthways with the bolt 6 under the cover plate 9. The position of the resilient sheet metal strip 3 is now chosen so that the projection 5 in the locked state of the bolt 6 just comes to rest with the edge 10 over the edge 11 of the grip sleeve 7, snaps deep into it and holds it in the locked position.
If the bolt 6 is to be brought into the open position, the resilient sheet metal strip 3 must first be pulled away from the front surface of the door frame until the projection 5 is pulled out of the grip sleeve 7 and releases the bolt for the open position. In this position, however, the projection 5 lies against the guide plate 8 and the resilient sheet-metal strip 3 protrudes beyond the end face 2 to such an extent that it is not possible to close the other door leaf.
