Die Erfindung betrifft eine weitere Ausbildung der den Gegenstand des Patentes Nr. 95751 bildenden Vorrichtung und besteht im wesentlichen darin, dass der das Abschlussorgan bewegende Kolben nicht durch Dampfdruck, sondern durch Druckluft gehoben wird, wobei die Luft durch Vermittlung einer Schleuse aus einem Pressluftbehälter in den Raum 8 geleitet wird.
In der Zeichnung veranschaulicht Fig. 1 eine mit der Einrichtung versehene Lokomotive. Fig. 2 zeigt in grösserem Massstab einen Schnitt durch eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindunggegenstandes.
In Fig. 1 bezeichnet 1 die vom Kessel kommende Dampfleitung, 1 a den Pressluftzylinder, 1 b die von ihm kommende Luftleitung, 2 die Vorrichtung, die den Zustrom des Dampfes zu den Zylindern, durch die Dampfleitung 3, vermittelt.
In Fig. 2 bezeichnet 4 das Gehäuse der Vorrichtung, das einen Raum 5 enthält, der mit einem Raum 22 mit Lufteintrittskanal 23 und mit dem Raum 8 abwechselnd in Verbindung steht.
