Fig. 1 das Schlauchgeflecht und
Fig. 2 die Abnutzung des bisher gedrehten Fadens.

Woven felt cloth for paper, wood and cellulose production.
As is well known, felt cloths for paper production must be woven from strong yarns in order to make them as absorbent as possible: for water, and this results in the disadvantage that the great elasticity of the yarns causes the felt cloths to shrink in width and thus the drainage for the paper stock. The necessary gaps in the tissue close.
Another disadvantage is that the twisted or twisted yarns are less
Wear and tear lose their hold, so that the fabric becomes unusable prematurely.
To eliminate the aforementioned disadvantages, a tubular braid is used as the weft and the warp or one of the two, in the cavity of which a filler thread of low elongation and high tensile strength can be arranged.
An exemplary embodiment is shown in the drawing and shows:
Fig. 1 the hose braid and
Fig. 2 shows the wear of the thread twisted so far.
The tubular braid a-b results in a strong, soft felt when woven and its cavity makes it possible, if great strength is required for special purposes, that a filling thread c of any material is drawn into it, whereby the elongation is reduced to a minimum. If a connection of thread ends is necessary, this can be done by knotting the thread ends a-b without knots.
