Dem Wesen nach besteht diese Einrichtung aus einem künstlichen Syphon a, in dem die oberhalb des Bodens offenen Rohrleitungen 1,   2,   3 usw. einmünden. Die Rohrleitung 2 führt zur Speisepumpe der Dampfkessel, die dauernd im Betriebe steht und den Wasserspiegel im Syphon auf stets gleiche Höhe, d. h. in einer solchen Höhe. die der möglichst grössten Saugleitung entspricht, hält. 



   Die Rohrleitungen 1 und 3 usw. führen die Kondensationswässer der verschiedenen durch Vakuumdampf geheizten Heizkörper zusammen. Jeder Heizkörper besitzt, wenn man dessen, von anderen Körpern unabhängige Regelung erzielen will, seine eigene in den Siphon einmündende Rohrleitung. 



   Was die   Anordnung der Vakuumdampfleitung,   der notwendigen   Leitungsausrüstung.   dem selbsttätigen Entlüftungsventile usw. anbelangt, so ist dies alles bei solchen Einrichtungen bekannt. Da die Speisepumpe den Wasserpiegel im Siphon in stets gleicher Höhe hält, wird dadurch ein Wasserabschluss der Rohrleitung zu den einzelnen Heizkörpern geschaffen, so dass durch Schliessen der betreffenden zum Heizkörper führenden Dampfleitung ein gänzliches Ausserbetriebsetzen des Heizkörpers und durch beliebig starkes Zuschliessen dessen Regelung erzielt wird.
