PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE : i.

Process for preparing pulp or cellulose to make one of these and others
Fibrous existing wadding.
It is known to use pulp and cellulose as a partial component in the manufacture of wadding. One of the processes carried out so far for the production of such wadding is that one alternates between cellulose or cellulose and cotton, wood wool, jute or moss
EMI1.1
has not yet succeeded. Tests have also shown and proven that usually digested cellulose cannot be processed together with the aforementioned fiber material on the card.
The reason for this must be found in the fact that the cellulose in the form of a bulb would have to be mixed with other fiber material, since the previous way of leaving the cellulose made it impossible to obtain another form.
EMI1.2
increase that their fibers are in possible little connection, the. although it maintains the cohesion and uniformity of the cellulose web on the paper machine, it enables the cellulose to be broken down by fibers in further mechanical processing. This avoids the formation of lumps in the cellulose, which means that it can be mixed and processed with other fiber material on the card to form a uniform fleece.
In order to achieve the above-mentioned goal, the cellulose pulp must be applied to the paper machine in deliberately selected minimum quantities and tests have shown that a weight of 8 to 10 g per square meter of the cellulose web results in such a structure that its lump-free, exclusively fiber-like structure Tearing and subsequent intimate processing with other fiber material on the card is permitted.
In this way, a wad is produced which has a uniform structure of its components and which is equally well suited for dressing purposes or in the clothing industry.
PATENT CLAIMS: i. Method for preparing cellulose or cellulose for the production of a wadding consisting of this and other fiber material, characterized in that the pulping of the cellulose takes place on a paper machine with the application of the cellulose in such a way that the cellulose web formed has a minimum weight while maintaining the mechanical fiber cohesion, which, during further processing, enables the cellulose to be broken down into its fibers, mixed with other fibers and processed on the card to achieve a uniform product (fleece).
