The shape according to FIGS. 2 and 3 enables the manufacture of bottles, the bottom of which is molded in one piece together with the bottle jacket. The outer shape here consists of two parts a1 and a2 arranged one above the other, which are again divided into several jaws. bl is the steel core, which is higher here than the inside of the bottle; As a result of the gap e remaining between the two mold parts a1 and a2, two moldings are produced during molding and the core b1 can be removed without further ado.

In order to also shape the bottom of the bottle under pressure, the bottom of the mold is curved inwards and divided into radial elastic jaws f1, f2, f3, f4, two of which are opposite each other and are pressed against the bottom of the grain by a pin or rod g when the outer mold parts are moved inwards will. The rods g are fastened with one end g1 to the jaws of the outer shape, while the free end, if appropriate, engages in grooves or depressions in the base jaws. One of the bottom jaws f (FIG. 3) is extended beyond the center, so that the gaps that occur in the bottom of the mold are covered with the molding when the core is rotated, thereby avoiding damaged areas in the bottom of the bottle.

The connection of the two halves of the molding takes place here by a thread which is formed during molding by ring strips h2, hl provided on the core bl or on the outer mold.

4 shows a bottle closure made from fiber material by pressing, which consists of a cup t which is provided with a sealing flange j and with an external thread k, by means of which the closure is fastened in the bottle neck. The closure is made in a similar way to that of the bottles.

The bottles produced in the manner described are durable and cheap, so that they are a fully-fledged substitute for the bottles.

PATENT CLAIMS: 1. A process for the production of bottles from fiber material, characterized in that the fiber pulp is compressed to the appropriate density between a core corresponding to the inside of the bottle including the neck and an outer mold consisting of radially movable basins with rotation of the core and lateral pressure of the jaws, so that a molding of uniform wall thickness and material properties with sufficient half-strength is achieved, which either receives a base made of fiber material, or is formed in one piece with the base, the bottle jacket being divided at the same height and fitting together in a suitable manner .
