Biegsame Holzsohle.

Flexible wooden sole.
The invention relates to a flexible wooden sole consisting of two parts. The essence of the invention is that the edges of the abutting wooden sole parts are offset on their upper and lower sides and are provided with holes according to the stitch width and these parts are connected by sewing two leather strips takes place through the stepped edges, the leather strips lying in the grooves formed by the stepped edges.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in elevation in FIG. 1 and in plan view in FIG. 2. 3, 4 and 5 show the individual parts to be sewn together in a perspective view.
The wooden sole is divided, advantageously at the point that comes to lie under the balls of the feet.
The sole shape can be any shape, but is preferably curved according to the natural shape of the foot. Parts A and B cut from wood are set off at their ends a and b and perforated to the stitch width. The edges of ends a and b are rounded.
Tilo A and B of the wooden sole are put together with their ends a and b so that they do not touch each other, but leave a small gap g between each other and both a:! their top and bottom form a wide groove (Fig. 1). In the latter, spring strips C corresponding to their width (see FIG. 4), which are advantageously cut from chrome leather, are inserted so that after the parts A and B have been sewn together, an equally thick foot sole is obtained.
