EMI1.1

EMI1.1
In the production of various sticky bodies containing tangic acid from seaweed, only the leaves, especially those of Laminaria digitatas and sacharina, have so far been used
EMI1.2
Product is represented.
The leaves of Laminaria cloustoni are not particularly suitable for the representation of the glue for various reasons, among other things because they are difficult to store. The seaweed leaves also contain a relatively large amount of coloring matter. therefore, even after using significant amounts of bleach, the end product, i.e. i. the adhesive obtained remains dark, colored. Incidentally, the amount of bleaching agents that can be used is limited by the fact that they destroy the seaweed, so that the use of too much bleaching agent deteriorates the value of the product.
If one wants to represent a colorless product, the vegetable fibers must therefore be completely removed by means of appropriate means, which increases the production costs to a high degree. The object of obtaining a light-colored body from seaweed containing seaweed without using too large amounts of bleaching agents is achieved according to the present invention in that instead of leaves of seaweed, the stems Laminaria cloustoni and other thick-stemmed Lanünaria seaweed are used as raw material for the manufacture of the sticky bodies.
These stalks are up to 3 cm thick and 1 m long and large quantities of such stalks are thrown onto the coasts by the storms, especially during the autumn, which until now have only been used for burning tanga or as fertilizer.
The outer skin (epidermis) of the stems is strongly brown in color. It was now with the

can be removed. if the stalks are treated in a cheeky (undried) condition.
In the present study, such treatment of the stalks is now carried out. After the dark skin has been removed, the stalks are treated in a manner known per se
