Sollte im Laufe der Zeit zwischen dem Steuerhebel und dem Zwischenstücke H Spiel auftreten, so kann dies durch Auswechseln des Widerlagers f3 für die Druckstange G leicht behoben werden.
Die Feder K unterstützt einerseits die Ventilfedern e3 in ihren Wirkungen, indem sie das Zwischenstück H entlastet ; andererseits wird aber durch diese Entlastung zugleich verhütet, dass die gleichartig wirkenden Ventilfedern c3 beim Entspannen auf das Zwischenstück infolge seiner ungleich verteilten Massen eine Kippwirkung ausüben, die sich ebenfalls wieder in einseitiger Abnutzung der Geradführung oder in einem Festklemmen ihrer Teile äussern könnte.
