Die Erfindung betrifft eine weitere Ausgestaltung der Dampfkraftanlage mit Wärmespeicher nach Patent Nr. 54301.
Es ist durch Versuche an Dampfkraftaniagen dieser Art festgestellt worden, dass es von Vorteil ist, die Dampfzufuhr so zu regeln, dass der Wärme- und Wasserkreislauf den tatsächlich erforderlichen Dampfmengen entspricht. Wird ein Wärmespeicher mit Abdampf, beispielsweise von einer Hochdruckdampfmaschine, gespeist, so ist die anfänglich von der Maschine abgegebene Dampfmenge wesentlich grösser als die Menge des Dampfes, welche die Heizvorrichtungen des Wärmespeichers aufzunehmen vermögen. Daraus ergibt sich aber ein Gegendruck auf die Hochdruckmaschine, welcher ihre Wirksamkeit nachteilig beeinflusst.
Wenn an dem Dampfzuleitungsrohr zu der Heizvorrichtung ein Sicherheitsventil vorgesehen ist, so entweicht der Dampf durch das Ventil, sobald der Druck erreicht ist, für welchen das Ventil eingestellt ist. Liegt der in der Auslassleitung von dem Wärmespeicher herrschende Druck unterhalb der normalen oder der eingestellten äusseren Belastung des Sicherheitventils, so geht der dem Ventil entströmende Dampf nutzlos verloren.
