Hochdruckdampf-Absperrvorrichtung für Niederdruck-Heizkörper.
Es hat sich bei Hochdruckdampf-Absperrvorrichtungeo für Heizkörper, welche in geschlossenen Räumen, wie Eisenbahnwaggons usw., angebracht sind, der Übelstand gezeigt, dass die Stopfbüchsen undicht und die betreffenden Räume in Dampf gehüllt werden.
Diesen Übelstand soll die in der Zeichnung dargestellte Absperrvorrichtung beseitigen.
Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht darin, dass in dem Gehäuse der Vorrichtung neben dem Hauptkanal ein zweiter mit dem Heizkörper gleichfalls verbundener Kanal angeordnet ist, welcher den bei Undichtheit der Schieberspindelstopfbüchse entweichenden Dampf dem Heizköper zuführt.
Wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich ist, besteht die Vorrichtung aus dem Gehäuse 1, dem Flachschieber 2, dem Schieberdeckel 3 und der Schieberwelle 4.
Die Betätigung dieser Vorrichtung ist folgende :
Mittels eines auf die Schieberwelle aufgesteckten Schlüssels wird der Flachschieber in die Offenstellung gebracht.
Der Dampf strömt durch die Öffnung a in den Kanal b und durch diesen in den mit der Absperrvorrichtung verbundenen Niederdruck-Dampfhozkörper.

In the case of high-pressure steam shut-off devices for radiators which are installed in closed spaces such as railroad cars, etc., it has been shown that the stuffing boxes leak and the rooms concerned are enveloped in steam.
The shut-off device shown in the drawing is intended to eliminate this drawback.
The essence of the invention is that in the housing of the device next to the main channel there is a second channel which is also connected to the heating element and which feeds the steam escaping from the valve stem stuffing box to the heating element.
As can be seen from the drawing, the device consists of the housing 1, the flat slide 2, the slide cover 3 and the slide shaft 4.
The operation of this device is as follows:
The flat slide is brought into the open position by means of a key attached to the slide shaft.
The steam flows through the opening a into the channel b and through this into the low-pressure steam body connected to the shut-off device.
