Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zur Erzeugung von Pressluft oder Pressgas, insbesondere für Beleuchtungs-und Heizzwecke, welche ihrem Wesen nach aus einem kommunizierenden Gefässsystem besteht, in welchem ein verdampfbarer Stoff, insbesondere Queck- sMber, durch Erhitzung und spätere Kondensation einem Kreisprozess unterworfen wird und wobei an jener Stelle, an der dieser Stoff sieh in dampfförmigem Zustande befindet, eine Einrichtung eingeschaltet ist, die, dUrch die Strömung des verdampften Stoffes betätigt, Pressluft oder Pressgas liefert.
Derartige Vorrichtung sind bereits bekannt und besteht das Wesen der Erfindung in einer Einrichtung, welche bezweckt, durch ein in die Gasleitung zum Nebenbrenner eingeschaltetes, selbsttätig wirkendes thermostatisches Abschlussorgan den Nebenbrenner abzuschalten, sobald der Hauptbrenner selbst genügende Hitze entwickelt und Pressgas oder Pressluft von entsprechendem Druck erzeugt.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht den Erfindungsgegenstand in beispielsweiser Ausführungsform an einer Gasglühlichtlampe. Bei dieser Ausführungsform ist als Abschlussorgan der Leitung des Nebenbrenners ein thermostatisches Ventil bekannter Bauart gewählt.
