   Das Wesen der durch das Stammpatent geschützten   Schiffsforrn   besteht darin, dass der   Schiffskörper   nur aus ebenen Flächen gebildet wird. Wo die ebenen Flächen des Schiffskörpers   aneinanderstossen,   entstehen   naturgemäss Kanten.   Versuche haben nun ergeben, dass die senkrechten Kanten 1, 2, 3 bei schneller Fahrt und auch bei schnellem Drehen des Schiffes Wirbel erzeugen, die für die Geschwindigkeit schädlich sind. Ebenso können die Querkanten 4, 5 schädliche Wirbel bei der Zuführung dos Wassers zu den Schrauben erzeugen. 



   Das Wesen vorliegender Erfindung besteht darin, die schädlichen Wirbelbildungen dadurch zu vermeiden, dass die erwähnten senkrechten Kanten und die Querkanten abgerundet sind. 



   Auf der Zeichnung ist eine Ausführungsform der Erfindung dargestellt, und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf den   Schiffsbodon und Fig.   2 einen   Seitenriss   des Schiffes.
