Wheelchair Grip Cuff with Push Button with Band The Wheelchair Grip Fig. 1 (9) is smooth and made of metal.

Fig. 1 shows in vertical section a part of a wheelchair grasping tire (9) with a foam or Kunststoffiiberzug (10) and with the compound (8) with a part of a wheelchair tire (5) with rims (6) and spokes (7).

When attacking to push the metal of the gripping tire (9) in winter is cold and with gloves or with wet hands, the wheelchair is difficult to brake.

To remedy this deficiency you can cover the handrims (9) with a foam or plastic tire (10). This foam or plastic tire (10) is not completely closed (17), which is necessary to mount the foam or plastic tires if necessary.

And by the assembly and by pushing or braking the material of the grip tire cover (10) is slightly stretched, softer or warmer, and it then slips easily from the metal grip (9).

Fig. 4 shows the wheelchair grasping tire cuff in its 5 cm wide rectangular shape which shows that between the extensions (16) about one third of the width is space and the cuff is to be mounted at the point where the connection between wheelchair tires (6) and handrims (9) and thereby slipping is prevented.

The wheelchair grip tire cuff, Fig. 2, with push button with band is easy and quick to install.

The light-reflecting push-button cuff with band has the advantage that the wheelchair user, for other road users, is seen better and faster at night or at dusk.
