The present invention has for its object to provide a device for underwater training, which allows a new form of aqua gymnastics, which is not yet accessible with the known devices. This object is achieved with a training device of the aforementioned type, which is characterized according to the invention in that the carrier is provided with at least two anchoring devices for each foot ball of a user.

The invention thus provides a completely new training device, which allows anchoring both legs of the user at the bottom of a training pool, the heels remain lifted from the ground. Thus, for the first time, bottom water exercises can be carried out in the manner of a boxing training, which lead due to the water resistance to a particularly gentle and at the same muscle building training, which is not only suitable for competitive athletes, but also excellent as rehabilitation and / or bodybuilding.

A further advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the anchoring device allows a rotation of the football about an axis approximately perpendicular to the carrier, preferably by means of a turntable. In the simplest case, the anchoring devices for the foot pads are permanently anchored to the wearer, for example in the form of foot straps, as will be discussed in more detail later. Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a training device 1 for aquagym comprises a flat support 2, which is provided on its upper side with anchoring means 3 for the foot pads 4 of a user. In an exemplary embodiment, the carrier 2 has an extension of about 1 x 1 m.
