   Bei den bisher bekannt gewordenen Verfahren zur Herstellung von einzeln gelöteten   Anker-und dergL Schmuckketten   aus Lötdraht waren zum Verhüten des Steiflötens

Wird die Kette an einer Stichflamme vorbeigeführt, die den Lotkern des Drahtes zum Schmelzen bringt, so werden dadurch die Fugen der einzelnen Glieder verlötet. Da sich das Lötmittel nur an den Schnittflächen befindet, kann die Oberfläche der Kettenglieder oxydieren, wodurch auch ein   Steif1Ïten   der Kette vermieden wird. 



   Zur Ausübung dieses neuen Verfahrens kann man sich einer in der Zeichnung dargestellten Einrichtung bedienen. 



   Der in bekannter Weise als Anschlag des freien Endes des zur Herstellung der Kette b verwendeten Lötdrahtes a dienende Stift c ist durchbohrt und in den   Hohlraum   wird ein Docht d aus aufsaugungsfähigem Material eingeführt, der in einen Behälter e mit Lotmittel hineinragt. Der Draht a stösst bei seinem Vorschub gegen den mit Lötmittel getränken Docht d, so dass die Schnittfläche angefeuchtet wird.
