   Bei den bekannten Gliederkesseln bat es sich gezeigt, dass eine ungleichmässige Verbrennung der im Füllschacht befindlichen Kohle eintritt, da die Luft unter dem Rost im wesentlichen von den beiden Stirnseiten zutritt und   hier natürlich   in höherem Masse auf die Verbrennung einwirkt als nach der Mitte des Kessels hin. 



     Fm   die Verbrennung über die Länge des Rostes hin   gleichmässiger   zu machen, ist im Patent Nr. 42459 vorgeschlage, seitliche Lufteintrittsöffnungen zu schaffen, indem Luftkanäle durch die Glieder hindurch oder zwischen je zwei Gliedern angeordnet werden. 



   Durch die vorliegende neue Einrichtung soll die Gleichmässigkeit der   Verbrennungswirkung   noch mehr gefördert werden.   Hiez"werden in an sich   bekannter Weise die   AbzugsöSnungen   für die Feuergase   abwechselnd über   die beiden Kesselseiten hin verteilt und es werden Luft-   zuführungskanäle,   die frische Verbrennungsluft von den Seiten des Kessels her durch die Gliedreihen hindurch führen,   ebenfalls abwechselnd über beide Seiten verteilt. Dabei lässt   sich die
