   Es sind   Wasserstandsanzeiger   bekannt geworden, bei denen in die Leitungen zum Glasrohr Kugeiventile eingeschaltet sind. Die Erfindung betrifft solche Wasserstandsanzeiger und besteht darin, dass eine der Ventilkugel, u. zw. die obere durch ein auf dem Standrohr aufruhendes Rohrstück oberhalb eines Ventilsitzes gehalten wird, so dass sie sich bei etwaiger Zertrümmerung des Standrohres mit dem Rohrstück senkt, bis sie auf ihrem Sitz aufliegt und die Ausströmung von Dampf bezw. Wasser aus dem Kessel verhindert.
