So werden etwa Polystyrolformstücke, wie sie beispielsweise bei Verpackungen anfallen, mechanisch zerkleinert. Dieses grobkörnige Granulat kann als Zuschlagstoff in vielen Bereichen verwendet werden. So etwa wird es dem Beton beigegeben. Als nachteilig muß dabei aber angesehen werden, daß beim Zerkleinerungsvorgang der Feststoff in gewissen Mengen auch staubförmig anfällt. Dieser Staub ist bei der Verwendung des grobkörnigen Polystyrol-Feststoffes unerwünscht. So beeinflußt der Staub als Beigabe zum Betondie Qualität, weil er aufschwimmt und die Oberflächenstruktur sowie das Erscheinungsbild verändert.Solid mixtures occur in many areas, which require separation in order to be used. Wenn man herkömmliche Staubfilter zur Trennung des staubförmigen von dem grobkörnigen Feststoffanteil einsetzt, dann verstopfen sich die Filter in sehr kurzer Zeit, sodaß ein kontinuierlicher Betrieb nicht möglich ist. Die Erfindung zielt darauf ab, ein Filter anzugeben, das einfach im Aufbau ist und störungsfrei im permanenten Betrieb arbeiten kann. Dies wird mit einem Filter der eingangs beschriebenen Art dadurch erreicht, daß in einem vorzugsweise zylindrischen Gehäuse mit einem Zuführstutzen oder Schacht für das Feststoffgemisch eine Siebtrommel mit ihrer Zylinderfläche in radialem Abstand von der Mantelfläche des Gehäuses koaxial angeordnet ist, daß in das Innere der Siebtrommel ein Absaugstutzen für den staubförmigen Anteil einmündet, während im Gehäuse, beispielsweise diametral zum Zuführstutzen, eine Entladeöffnung für den entstaubten grobkörnigen Anteil vorgesehen ist, daß ferner im Inneren der Siebtrommel ein sich über die gesamte Siebtrommellänge erstreckender Teilbereich des Innenraumes, insbesondere Sektor oder Segment durch mindestens eine Trennwand dichtend gegenüber dem die Absaugung enthaltenden Innenraum der Siebtrommel abgeteilt ist, daß der abgeteilte Teilbereich mit der atmosphärischen Luft oder mit einer Druckluftquelle in Verbindung steht und daß die Siebtrommel und bzw. oder der abgeteilte Teilbereich zur Ausführung einer umlaufenden Relativbewegung zueinander drehbar gelagert sind. Die Siebtrommel wird bei einer Ausführung rotierend angetrieben und der Staub wird in das Innere der Siebtrommel angesaugt und abgeführt. Dieses Ansaugen bewirkt ein Heranziehen der grobkörnigen Feststoffteile an die Trommel, sodaß es in weiterer Folge zu einer dichtenden Einhüllung der Gitterstruktur der Trommel kommen kann. Es läuft daher die Trommel über eine Zone, die gegenüber dem Unterdruckbereich abgedichtet und die mit Atmosphärendruck oder Überdruck beaufschlagtist. Dadurch fällt der Belag der Siebtrommel in diesem Bereich ab. In zweckmäßiger Weise ist dieser Teilbereich des Innenraumes der Siebtrommel in Drehrichtung gesehen kurz vor der Auswurföffnung für den grobkörnigen, entstaubten Anteil des Feststoffgemisches vorgesehen.
