  Unterlagscheibe für Schieferplatten miteinander verbindende Nägel. 



   Schieferplatten werden bekanntlich durch Nägel miteinander verbunden, deren hervorragende Enden durch Schlagen umgebogen werden, um eine feste Verbindung zu erzielen. Nachdem die Abbiegung des Nagels nicht in der Ebene der   Aussenfläche   der Platte erfolgen kann und auch die Löcher in der Platte weiter sind und dem Nagel ein gewisses Spiel gestatten, so dringt Flüssigkeit leicht durch diese Löcher ein. 



   Der Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bezieht sich nun auf eine Vorrichtung, um diesen Übelstand zu beheben und dabei auch gleichzeitig ein festeres Anliegen der Platten aneinander zu erzielen. In der untenstehenden Zeichnung ist in Fig. 1 im Querschnitt und in Fig. 2 im Grundriss die Vorrichtung veranschaulicht. 



   Der Nagel besteht aus dem Kopfe a und dem Schafte b, welche durch entsprechende Löcher der zu verbindenden Schieferplatten durchgesteckt wird. Die Abbiegungsstelle des Nagelschaftes wird nun durch die Zwischenlage einer wenig konkaven Scheibe c, welche einen mittleren, ausgepressten, nach oben zu konischen Ansatz d besitzt, in entsprechender
Entfernung oberhalb der Schieferplatte verlegt. Dadurch wird erzielt, dass der Nagel ohne
Beschädigung der Schieferplatten angezogen werden kann und sich hiebei die Scheibe c fest an die Schieferplatte anlegt, so dass der Raum um die Öffnung der äusseren Schiefer- platte herum abgedichtet ist und Wasser nicht eindringen kann.

   As is known, slates are connected to one another by nails, the protruding ends of which are bent over by hammering in order to achieve a firm connection. Since the nail cannot be bent in the plane of the outer surface of the plate and the holes in the plate are wider and allow the nail a certain amount of play, liquid easily penetrates through these holes.



   The object of the present invention now relates to a device to remedy this drawback and at the same time to achieve a more tight fit of the plates against one another. In the drawing below, the device is illustrated in FIG. 1 in cross section and in FIG. 2 in plan.
