Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine besondere Ausführung der bekannten Funkenfang- und Löschvorrichtungen für Schornsteine mit Einspritzung von Wasser durch eine in derSchornsteinachseliegendeDüse.
In der Zeichnung ist die Erfindung im Schnitt dargestellt.
In der senkrechten Achse des Schornsteines a befindet sich eine Düse d, welche mit Wasser oder einer anderen geeigneten Flüssigkeit durch das Rohr c gespeist wird. Damit die Düse und das Rohr im Innern des Schornsteines durch die Hitze oder Einwirkung von Säuren nicht zerstört werden, ist um dieselben eine Schutzhülle b angebracht. Diese Düse d schleudert das Wasser in Form eines kegelförmigen Mantels gegen die Wandung des Schornsteines .
