Process for the production of strips of the Quran in double peeks.

Around stripes formed by the plush warp threads that run in the same direction as the weft. that is, to create horizontal stripes in double plush, the method described below can be used. From the per se single-colored, but differently colored, poly-chain threads a and b, one is arranged in the upper and the other in the lower fabric and these warp threads are tied alternately in the upper and lower fabric; the thread a, which is not hatched in the drawing, and the thread become taut. reach a different color representing thread b assume the position shown in Fig. 1 of the drawing.

After the upper and lower fabric have been separated, however, the plush threads straighten up, as in FIGS. 2 and 3, and the different-colored threads now appear next to one another, alternating, so that strips created by the pile chain but running at right angles to it Goods result (see Fig. 4).

In the case of solid goods, several shots are always used, alongside
 EMI1.1
here between the chains a and b in such a way that between poils (hués d and lining weft c there is always a row of pile tufts. Since the pile wefts d are drawn tautly, but the fluff wefts c are held loosely, each thread d pulls the plush handle between two Threads c into it, which prevents the plush threads a and b from standing at an angle and a pure delimitation of the colored stripes is achieved.

So you no longer need the stripy plush with the expensive stuff that has been known since then
 EMI1.2
but achieves the same thing through a special arrangement and binding of different colored chains.
