Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zum Legen der Ziegel in Feldziegelöfen, wodurch eine bessere Ausnutzung der Wärme im Ofen ermöglicht werdensoll. 



   Das Legen bezw. Richten der zum Brennen vorbereiteten Ziegel im Ofen geschieht derart, dass gleichzeitig   beim Legen im Ofen, wie   aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich, eine volle Querwand b aus noch ungebrannten Ziegeln mit aufgeführt wird, u. zw. bis zu solcher   Höhe,   dass zwischen der Wand b und der vollen luftdicht hergestellten Decke e des zu brennenden   Ziogelstosses genügend Raum für   das Durchströmen der Heizgase verbleibt. 



  Die Wand b teilt demnach den ganzen Raum des Ofens in zwei Hälften, den vorderen   Raum a ! und   den   rückwärtigen Raum   e ; im vorderen Raume d sind die Roste 3 angebracht. Im hinteren Raume e in der   Rückwand   a sind nahe dem Hoden die Abzugs- öffnungen 1 für die Heizgase angeordnet, welche durch schräge Kanäle 2 mit dem Kamine verbunden sind. Diese BOdenöffnungen werden vorteilhaft über die ganze Breite der Ofenwand verteilt, so dass der   Brand   auch in diesem Feuerraume gleichmässig erfolgt.
