Pülpelänger.
EMI1.1

EMI1.1
The rinsing water passes through a distribution pipe h with suitable openings into the front
EMI1.2
in which a screw conveyor runs with a variable pitch.
The chips that have been separated and carried upwards by the Sehöpfbleehen e fall into the funnel-shaped expanded sheet metal trough i and are transported into the pulp press l by the transport screw. In order to bring the pulp to the desired dryness content, a regulating sleeve n is arranged on the ejection part m, which can be loaded differently with the help of the toggle lever o and the sliding weight p.
As can be seen from the drawing (Fig. 1), the perforated sheet metal trough i extends into the press room l, which means that the press is largely relieved of the liquid pressure in the company, since it only works to reduce the volume of the pulp and not to compress the pulp in it still contained liquid, which rather runs straight through the holes in the metal trough.
The pulp catcher according to the invention in particular saves space in height, which is particularly advantageous in sugar factories. Furthermore, the pulp catcher according to the invention works completely automatically and does not require any operation. It can withstand a considerable amount of overload temporarily without the risk of overflowing or clogging.
