Die feste Platte 9 bildet den Boden des rückwärtigen Raumes 3, der zur Aufbewahrung des Bett- zeuges, wie Betten, Leintüehern, Kopfkissen u. dgl., dient und welcher im geschlossenen Zustande des
Lehnstuhles durch die Lehnplatte 5 und die Rückplatte 4 begrenzt wird. Unter dieser Platte 9 werden 'auch die Verlängerungsseitenarme 13 der Sitzplatte 8 in der Sitzstellung untergebracht.
Die Deckelplatte 6'dieses Aufbewahrungsraumes 3 kann entweder mit der Rückplatte 4, wie in
Fig. 2, oder mit der Lehnplatte 5, wie in Fig. l, als Deckelplatte 6, durch geeignete Scharniere verbunden werden, so dass im letzteren Falle auch dieser Deckel 6 durch die Lehnplatte 5 entlang der Kurvenführung 11 mitgenommen wird und auf die Platte 9 zu liegen kommt, wobei sie mit der Lehnplatte 5 und der Sitz- platte 8 in gleicher Ebene liegt. Aus der gesamten Anordnung geht klar hervor, dass bei beiden Ver- wendungsarten, d. i. beim Ausziehen des Lehnstuhles in ein Bett und umgekehrt, jeder einzelne Bestand- teil des Lehnstuhles voll ausgenutzt wird.

Soll der Lehnstuhl möglichst niedrig sein, wird dieses Stützbrettchen 75 weggelassen, so dass dann bei Lehnstuhlstellung der Polster 16 unmittelbar auf der Sitzplatte 8 aufsteht, wie es auch aus Fig. 1 zu entnehmen ist.

PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. In ein Bett oder Doppelbett umwandelbarer Lehnstuhl, bei welchem die mit der ausziehbaren Sitzplatte gelenkig verbundene Lehnplatte in bogenförmigen Führungsbahnen derart verschiebbar ist, dass sie zusammen mit der Sitzplatte die Liegefläche eines Bettes bildet, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Führungsbahn (11) an den Seitenwänden (2) derart bogenförmig ausgebildet ist, dass die nieder-oder hinaufzugleitende Lehnplatte (5) mit dieser Gleitführung (11) einen stets gleichmässigen spitzen Winkel bildet, so dass sie durch Verschieben der Sitzplatte (8) unter einem minimalen, in jedem Punkte gleichbleibenden Kraftaufwande leicht in jede beliebige Lage gebracht werden kann.
