Es ist bekannt, Handgriffe für Koffer, Reisetaschen u. dgl.. statt aus Leder bzw. einem mit Leder überzogenen starren Bügel aus Blech, Kunsthorn od. dgl. an sich tragfestem Material herzustellen.
Solche Handgriffe haben den Nachteil, dass sie sich nicht gut in den gewohnten Anblick eines Reisekoffers einfügen und sich nicht angenehm anfühlen. Insbesondere wenn beim längeren Tragen eines Koffers die Hand feucht wird. so gleiten solche Handgriffe leicht, wodurch durch das erforderliche, übermässig feste Anfassen des Griffes die Hand überanstrengt wird und Ullnötig rasch ermüdet.
