Abstract

Reivindicación 39: Un método de identificación de una planta que tiene tolerancia a un herbicida icafolina y a al menos un herbicida adicional, el método comprende: a) obtener una planta de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 20 - 23; b) aplicar el al menos un herbicida adicional a dicha planta o a una parte de la misma; e c) identificar dicha planta como tolerante al menos a un herbicida adicional. Claim 17: A DNA construct comprising the recombinant DNA molecule according to any one of claims 1 - 16. Claim 19: A transgenic plant, seed, cell or plant part comprising a recombinant DNA molecule comprising a heterologous promoter operably linked to a polynucleotide sequence encoding a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having at least about 85% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 3, SEQ ID NO: 4, SEQ ID NO: 16, SEQ ID NO: 17, SEQ ID NO: 23, SEQ ID NO: 26, SEQ ID NO: 27 or SEQ ID NO: 28. Claim 27: A method of producing a transgenic plant or part thereof, comprising: a) introducing a recombinant DNA molecule comprising a heterologous promoter operably linked to a polynucleotide sequence encoding a polypeptide polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having at least about 85% sequence identity to SEQ ID NO: 3, SEQ ID NO: 4, SEQ ID NO: 16, SEQ ID NO: 17, SEQ ID NO: 23, SEQ ID NO: 26, SEQ ID NO: 27, or SEQ ID NO: 28 in a plant cell; and b) regenerating the transgenic plant or part thereof from said cell or a descendant cell thereof comprising the recombinant DNA molecule. Claim 39: A method of identifying a plant having tolerance to an icafolin herbicide and at least one additional herbicide, the method comprising: a) obtaining a plant according to any one of claims 20-23; b) applying the at least one additional herbicide to said plant or a part thereof; and c) identifying said plant as tolerant to at least one additional herbicide. Claim 40: A method for reducing the development of herbicide-tolerant weeds in a plant growth area comprising the transgenic plant or seed according to any of claims 20 - 23, wherein the method comprises contacting the plant growth area with an icafolin herbicide and at least one additional herbicide, wherein the transgenic plant or seed is tolerant to the icafolin herbicide and at least one additional herbicide.
