Abstract
El presente consiste en un método para aumentar el rendimiento, la tasa de crecimiento, la biomasa, el vigor, el contenido de aceite, el rendimiento de semillas, el rendimiento de fibras, la calidad de las fibras, la longitud de las fibras, la capacidad fotosintética, la eficacia en el uso de nitrógeno y/o la tolerancia al estrés abiótico, y/o para reducir el tiempo hasta la floración y/o el tiempo hasta la aparición de la inflorescencia de una planta, en donde la planta obtenida mediante el método se excluye de la protección, caracterizado porque comprende: (a) transformar una célula de la planta con un constructo de ácido nucleico que comprende un polinucleótido aislado que comprende una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica un polipéptido que comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos que presenta una identidad de secuencia de al menos un 80% con respecto a la SEQ ID Nº 730, 545, 10286 ó 10287, y un promotor heterólogo para dirigir la transcripción de dicha secuencia de ácido nucleico en la célula vegetal, y (b) generar una planta madura a partir de dicha célula, aumentando, de esa manera, el rendimiento, la tasa de crecimiento, la biomasa, el vigor, el contenido de aceite, el rendimiento de semillas, el rendimiento de fibras, la calidad de las fibras, la longitud de las fibras, la capacidad fotosintética, la eficacia en el uso de nitrógeno y/o la tolerancia al estrés abiótico, y/o reduciendo el tiempo hasta la floración y/o el tiempo hasta la aparición de la inflorescencia de la planta.This is a method for increasing yield, growth rate, biomass, vigor, oil content, seed yield, fiber yield, fiber quality, fiber length, photosynthetic capacity, nitrogen use efficiency and/or tolerance to abiotic stress, and/or to reduce the time to flowering and/or the time to inflorescence of a plant, wherein the plant obtained by the method is excluded from protection, characterized in that it comprises: (a) transforming a plant cell with a nucleic acid construct comprising an isolated polynucleotide comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence that has a sequence identity of at least 80% with respect to SEQ ID No. 730, 545, 10286 or 10287, and a heterologous promoter to direct the transcription of said nucleic acid sequence or in the plant cell, and (b) generating a mature plant from said cell, thereby increasing yield, growth rate, biomass, vigor, oil content, seed yield, fiber yield, fiber quality, fiber length, photosynthetic capacity, nitrogen use efficiency and/or tolerance to abiotic stress, and/or reducing time to flowering and/or time until the appearance of the inflorescence of the plant.
