Abstract

De acuerdo con modalidades, un proceso para preparar un catalizador híbrido formado puede comprender mezclar un componente catalizador de óxido de metal y un componente catalizador microporoso, agregar un aglutinante al componente catalizador de óxido de metal y el componente catalizador microporoso para formar una pasta, en donde el aglutinante es una solución, suspensión o gel coloidal de un precursor de aglutinante que comprende óxidos o hidróxidos de aluminio, óxidos o hidróxidos de zirconio, o mezclas de estos, y extrudir la pasta para producir el catalizador híbrido formado. El componente catalizador de óxido de metal puede comprender óxido de galio y zirconia, en donde la zirconia tiene una fracción de macroporosidad que es menor que 0,3 y el componente catalizador microporoso puede comprender un tamiz molecular que tiene aberturas de poro de 8-MR (anillo de miembros). El catalizador híbrido formado se puede usar en un proceso para convertir una corriente de alimentación en una corriente de producto que comprende hidrocarburos C₂ a C₄.
