Abstract

Proceso integral y escalable de fabricación de biopolímeros in situ para proyectos de recuperación terciaria de petróleo que comprende las siguientes etapas: a) Activación-subcultivo: activación de la bacteria / hongo (15) con los sustratos seleccionados (16) colocando en un medio de cultivo sólido estéril (17) manteniendo en incubación a cierta temperatura hasta llegar al nivel de producción del polisacárido deseado; b) Frascos agitados: se procede a una secuencia de replicaciones en medio de cultivo líquido estéril (18) incrementando la cantidad de biomasa hasta obtener un inóculo de laboratorio (19); c) Fermentadores: fermentación realizada en fermentadores o biorreactores (20) mediante los cuales los sustratos (16) son transformados por los microorganismos en biopolímero y biomasa; d) Filtrado o centrifugado: centrifugación (22) que produce el desprendimiento del polímero líquido (24) de la biomasa (23); e) El polímero líquido (24) obtenido en la etapa d) se mezcla con el agua de inyección (44) en un mezclador estático (45) y se inyecta directamente al pozo a través del inyector (46). La fabricación del biopolímero se realiza en las inmediaciones de los inyectores del yacimiento y es colocado directamente el sobrenadante de la etapa d) de filtrado o centrifugado en la línea de inyección directamente a los inyectores. El proceso se lleva a cabo inicialmente con una configuración mínima en un sitio del yacimiento que se encuentra próximo a un sitio con disponibilidad del sustrato para activar el subcultivo. El biopolímero es un exopolisacárido tal como la goma xántica y el escleroglucano.
