Abstract

La presente invención se refiere al campo de la biotecnología. De forma más específica, la presente invención se refiere a un polipéptido de PPO2 con tolerancia a herbicidas inhibidores de la protoporfirinógeno oxidasa (PPO) y a su aplicación. La aplicación del polipéptido de PPO a las plantas puede aumentar significativamente la resistencia de las plantas a los herbicidas inhibidores de PPO; puede usarse en plantas, incluidos cultivos de valor económico, y aplicarse de acuerdo con las características de resistencia a herbicidas y la selección de herbicidas, para lograr el propósito de controlar económicamente el crecimiento de malezas.
