Abstract
La presente invención desvela un método para controlar plagas del maíz. Más particularmente, la presente invención se refiere a un método de control de la infestación por plagas del maíz y a una composición que comprende la clase de insecticida piridilideno para controlar las plagas del maíz. Una composición de flupirimina en donde se selecciona diamida, benzoilureas o flonicamida como insecticida adicional. Reivindicación 1: Un método de control de la infestación por insectos del maíz que comprende: aplicar flupirimina o una sal agrícolamente aceptable de la misma en una planta o una parte de la misma o en el emplazamiento o en material de propagación vegetal. Reivindicación 4: El método según la reivindicación 3, en donde los neonicotinoides se seleccionan de imidacloprid, clotianidina o tiametoxam.
